Please Note:

  • The main electrical breaker should be in the OFF position for DEC to connect service.
  • A service connection fee of $34 will be added to your first statement.
  • If you are transferring service please complete the service transfer webform instead.
  • We will also need your social security number (for a credit check) before we can connect your service. We do not want you to send this information to us online. For your security, a customer service representative will call you within one business day to verify your social security number. If for some reason you don't hear back from us, please call us at 855-DEC-9090.
