Capital Credit Checks Bring Cheer

Capital Credit Checks Bring Cheer to DEC Members This Holiday Season

GREENWOOD, Del. – Delaware Electric Cooperative employees have been busy distributing capital credit checks to member-owners across central and southern Delaware. In October the Co-op’s Board of Directors announced $4.1 million in capital credits would be returned to members from 1991, 1992 and part of 2010.

Capital Credits are essentially the Delaware Electric Cooperative’s profits. Because the Co-op is owned by its members, the profits are returned to the member-owners.
