Assistant Manager of Purchasing and Stores Delaware Electric Cooperative, Inc. located in Greenwood, DE is accepting applications for an Assistant Manager of Purchasing & Stores. The Assistant Manager of Purchasing & Stores will assist the Manager in reviewing the daily activities of the warehouse, negotiating new pricing with vendors, reviewing the information on shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory. The Assistant Manager of Purchasing & Stores will also review and control the stock by monitoring goods in and out and efficiently overseeing the movement and handling of items and reviewing stock records for accuracy.  This is an opportunity for a candidate with proficient knowledge of inventory & inventory controls while possessing outstanding communication and leadership skills with the ability to multitask and problem-solve.  Candidate must possess a four-year degree in the field of Finance, Business, Logistics or Supply Chain Management.  Must have excellent computer skills and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the areas relating to purchasing, inventory management or other related utility functions.
