Request for New Service

For developers, in order to process your request for an electric design in a timely manner, we require BOTH:

  • Hard Copy of the “County Approved” Subdivision Drawings
  • Electronic Copy of the “County Approved” Subdivision Drawings

Important Information for Developers and Members:

As global supply chain issues continue to impact DEC’s operations, developers and members may experience delays in the connection of new services. Despite working diligently to source the proper materials needed to install services to new homes and developments, DEC has not been able to secure enough transformers to keep up with current demand. While DEC will continue to do everything it can to procure transformers and equipment, the Co-op anticipates severe shortages of transformers to continue, at a minimum, through the end of the year.
