Our Co-op employee family has received the best Christmas gift this year! As of this publication, President and CEO Rob Book is resting and recuperating following his successful heart transplant surgery on November 4. While Book has only just begun on his road to recovery, he is feeling strong and looking forward to when he can return to the office. “My family and I are overcome with gratitude for the thoughts, prayers and support we have received from DEC members and our Co-op family throughout this entire experience,” Book says. “We cannot thank everyone enough for their kindness, and I am focusing on my healing so I can get back to the Co-op, and get back to serving members.” If you would like to send Rob a message, please email it to [email protected].
