August is only two months away, and with it comes the Co-op’s biggest event of the year — our Annual Meeting! Members in attendance on Tuesday, August 13 will enjoy a fried chicken dinner and community fair, as well as our business meeting where members will receive an update on the Co-op’s current standing and our plans for the year ahead. Dinner begins at 3 p.m. at the Centre Ice Rink at the Delaware State Fairgrounds, with the business meeting beginning at 7 p.m. in the Dover Building. Members will receive instructions on how to vote in this summer’s board elections in July. Members will be able to vote in person at the annual meeting, online, and through mail-in ballots. DEC’s goal is to make it as easy as possible for members to cast their votes. The Annual Meeting serves as a wonderful opportunity for members to meet and interact with DEC employees, all while learning more about their not-for-profit Co-op and enjoying an evening of great food, live music and entertainment for the entire family.
