Thoughts and Prayers for CEO Rob Book

Our Co-op family is asking for prayers for CEO Rob Book, who is currently awaiting a heart transplant. This has come as a shock to Rob and our team here at DEC. He is in great spirits, is in frequent contact with our employees and is looking forward to being back with us as soon as he can. While Rob has some challenging days ahead of him, our Co-op employees are doing everything they can to help his family. Employees have been preparing meals for his family, have held prayer circles, and are sending him frequent videos of encouragement. Co-op Chief Operating Officer Dwayne Street is helping to oversee day-to-day operations at DEC until Book is able to return. While this is a difficult time for our DEC family, this will not impact our employees’ commitment to provide reliable and friendly service to the people and places we power.
